Stratigraphy:

Lower Triassic: Kidderminster Conglomerate, lying on top of Permian: Bridgnorth Sandstone.


Date of Last Survey: 22/02/2000

Here the dune sandstone drops 70 m sheer to the road. There are several crags by the path with exposed bedding planes. Continuing up the path leads to exposures of the Kidderminster Conglomerate which are excellent for close study.
