The Society is pleased to announce that it has won the ENI Geological Challenge Award for 2008, presented at the Geologists Association meeting at Burlington House on Friday 4th Jan. This annual award, sponsored by the major Italian oil and gas company ENI, recognises the work of amateur geologists who have made a major contribution to the understanding of the geology and landscape of the United Kingdom, this year awarded to the Shropshire Geological Society for its website.
