GRINSHILL |
|
Grinshill is a small hill to the north of Shrewsbury. It has been quarried for a high quality yellowish grey sandstone which is seen in buildings throughout the county. |

This sandstone hill guards some of the best early dinosaur footprints that have been found in the county, including those of a Rhynchosaur. If you want to see some footprints for yourself, click here, or see them for real at Rowley's House Museum in Shrewsbury! |
