The Society is keen to promote the wonder of the ground beneath Shropshire, referred to by scientists as geology. Linked to this has been a project providing Trails to supplement the walking routes already available at:

Not only does Shropshire offer a huge variety of rocks and fossils but also has many wonderful views across a very varied landscape.
